Our story
Dogmakers started in September 2016 with a simple goal: to be a trusted, easy-to-understand resource hub for dog owners. The internet was full of conflicting dog advice — forums shouting at each other, shops disguising ads as guides, and myths that refuse to die. We wanted to be the opposite of all that.
After a few quiet years, we rebuilt Dogmakers in 2026 around a bigger mission: helping a new generation of dog owners become true Dogmakers — prepared, confident, and the person their dog already thinks they are.

How we work

What we’re not
We are not veterinarians, and this site will never pretend otherwise. Educational content can guide decisions, but it can’t examine your dog. When a question needs a professional, we say so plainly — that honesty is non-negotiable.
Why “Dogmakers”?
Dogs aren’t born well-trained and owners aren’t born experienced. Both are made — patiently, one good decision at a time. We’re here for the owner side of that deal.
