Dogmakers started in September 2016 with a simple goal. To be a trusted,
easy-to-understand resource hub for dog owners.
The Editor
The site is edited and managed by me, Rafat — a tech professional, researcher, writer, and a lifelong dog enthusiast. I am not a veterinarian, and this site will never pretend otherwise.
Here is how every guide is built instead:
- Evidence first. Health and food-safety claims are checked against veterinary sources such as the AVMA and ASPCA — and linked, so you can
verify every claim yourself. - Direct answers. A clear yes / no / in-moderation at the top of every
article, then the details. - Honest limits. When a question needs a professional who knows your
dog, I tell you to see one.

This site was founded in 2016, was dormant for a period, and is being rebuilt with higher standards. If you spot an error, the contact page is always open — corrections get fixed fast.
